Who we are

AppBox (appbox.co.tz and its subdomains) is operated by Yamala Multimedia, Posta Building, Room 10, Uhindini Street, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Contact us at show email address.

What we collect

• Access requests: the name, organisation, email, phone number, apps of interest and message you send through the request form, plus your IP address and the time of the request.
• App accounts: the details needed to create and run your account in each app, and records of activity inside the apps.
• Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and troubleshooting.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The apps use cookies only to keep you signed in.

How we use it

• To review your request, create your accounts and send you login details.
• To support you during a demo and follow up about hosted plans.
• To protect the service from abuse, for example by limiting repeated requests.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that host or deliver our services, or where the law requires it.

Demo data

Demo accounts use fictional sample data and are reset regularly. Please do not enter real personal or customer information in a demo. Anything entered may be deleted without notice.

How long we keep it

Access requests are kept for up to 24 months. Demo accounts are removed after the trial period ends. Hosted customers' data is kept for the life of the service agreement and handled as set out in that agreement.

Security

All AppBox addresses use encrypted HTTPS connections. Each app runs with its own database, and access is limited to people who need it to run the service.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or close your demo accounts, by emailing show email address.

Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
